Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner was not named in the FIR. There was no specific allegation against him. No direct enmity or motive was attributed to the petitioner. In fact, petitioner was not even present at the time of alleged occurrence. He was nominated as accused only on the basis of disclosure statement of co-accused. He further submits that petitioner's case was at par with co-accused Ravi Kumar, who had since been enlarged on interim anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 21.07.2026 in CRM-M-35093-2026 titled 'Ravi Kumar Vs. State of Punjab'. Notice of motion. Mr. Vikas Bhardwaj, AAG Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail submitting that though, petitioner was not named in the FIR, his name figured in the disclosure statement of co-accused. The role attributed to him was serious as he caused multiple grievous injuries to the complainant. Moreover, he was involved in three other cases, one relating to Section 307 IPC. In the given facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest, petitioner shall be released on interim anticipatory bail subject to his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. Considering all relevant facts and circumstances, but without commenting on merits of the case, the petition is allowed and order dated 28.07.2026, granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
