GREWAL Present: Mr. Kamal Narula, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Mavpreet Singh, DAG, Punjab. ***** H.S. GREWAL, J. (Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023, seeking issuance of appropriate directions to the official respondents to provide complete information regarding the whereabouts/status (alive or dead) of the petitioner’s husband, namely Lucky Nahar, and the present status of the FIR/criminal case registered against him at Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur, including whether he has been traced or not. On a perusal of the reply filed by learned State Counsel, it shows that the FIR has been registered on the escaping of the husband of the present petitioner and the same is still under investigation. The husband of the petitioner is still not traceable. No further order is required by this Court. As such, the present petition is disposed of. (H.S. GREWAL) JUDGE 26.08.2026 Preeti S.
