…Respondents

CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE VIKRAM AGGARWAL

Present: Mr. Rohit Khullar, Advocate, for the petitioner.

Mr. Rahul Arora, APP, U.T. Chandigarh.

Ms. Anjana Thakur, Advocate, for respondent No.2.

*** VIKRAM AGGARWAL, J (ORAL)

The prayer in the present petition is for quashing of FIR No.138, dated 30.08.2024 registered under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC at Police Station South Sector 34, Chandigarh along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of a compromise dated 20.11.2025 arrived at between the petitioner and respondent No. 2.

2. At the outset, learned State counsel has submitted that the petition is not filed on behalf of all accused since one Joban Sandhu is also an accused.

3. On an argument by learned counsel for the petitioner that the name of Joban Sandhu stands dropped, learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that Joban Sandhu is still an accused in the FIR in question.

4. That being so, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition, at this stage.
