1. This petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking directions to the respondent authorities not to conduct repeated enquiries against the petitioner and his father, who have already been declared innocent in the enquiry conducted in FIR No. 76 dated 25.07.2025, Police Station Hathur, District Ludhiana.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that despite their exoneration, the officials respondents have again started summoning them for fresh enquiries on the very same allegations, which is impermissible in law.

3. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that, in the event the petitioner is required to join any investigation or inquiry, the concerned authorities shall serve a written notice upon the petitioner at least three days in advance.
