1. Against the assessment order dated 22.04.2021 pertaining to the assessment year 2018-19 the petitioner on 04.05.2021 filed a statutory appeal before the respondent which even after the passage of over five years from the date of its filing has not been decided which delay in deciding of the petitioner’s statutory appeal is not appreciated.
2. In the light of the above, the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is accepted and resultantly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to finally dispose of the petitioner’s aforesaid appeal within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
