J. (Oral) The petition under Section 528 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeks a direction to official respondents No. 2 and 3 to conduct free and fair investigation through any senior police officer of District Mohali and take appropriate legal action against private respondents by registering FIR under appropriate provisions of IPC. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Tej Kaur wife of late S. Bhola Singh died issueless on 28.10.1982. She executed a registered gift deed in favour of petitioner’s father, on the basis of which mutations were duly sanctioned. Private respondents hatched a criminal conspiracy and forged GPA dated 24.05.2023 of Tej Kaur, who died on 28.10.1982. On the strength of the forged power of attorney, various sale deeds were executed in favour of different persons resulting in transfer of land. The matter was reported to the police for registration of FIR and representation (Annexure P-3) was moved to Director General of Police, Punjab but no action was taken. Learned counsel submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate direction is issued to the respondent No. 3- Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali, to AJAY GOSWAMI 2026.07.21 19:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
