(Oral) The petition under Section 528 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeks a direction to official respondents to transfer enquiry/investigation of complaint No. 494 dated 01.04.2026 from respondent No. 2 to a senior officer of another District, not below the rank of an IPS officer or to Crime Branch Chandigarh. Short reply by way of affidavit of Bharat Bhushan, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Chabbewal, District Hoshiarpur has been filed. Same is taken on record. As per reply filed, an inquiry was conducted in the complaint against the petitioner. The matter was found to be of civil nature. As no cognizable offence was found made out, the complaint was filed on 06.05.2026. In the wake of reply filed by the State, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the petition. Allowed as prayed for.
