DEBTS RECOVERY TRIBUNAL-I, CHANDIGARH CNjl /2025 PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK Vs ONKAR SINGH 21.01.2026 Item No.123 Present : Mr. G.S. Bawa, Counsel for the Applicant. Punjab National Bank, has filed this Chamber Appeal against the order dated 29.10.2025, whereby the Registrar has declined to register this case on the ground that the Bank had not produced the original documents on 16.10.2025. In the appeal, it is alleged that the case was taken up before the court of Registrar on 29.10.2025 and the date of hearing was not intimated to the bank and impugned order was passed behind the back of the bank and thus, could not be produced. I am of the considered view, that the Bank has shown sufficient cause. Accordingly, the appeal is allowed and disposed of. The Appellant Bank may produce the documents before the Registrar on any working day up to 09.02.2026, who would register the case DRT-I, Chandigarh PANk AJ
