DEBTS RECOVERY TRIBUNAL-I, CHANDIGARH CN12Q 1 2625 UCO BANK Vs ATUL SEN 21.01.2026 Item No.120 Present : Mr. Rampal Kohle, proxy Counsel for Mr. T.P. Singh, Counsel for the Applicant. UCO Bank has filed this Chamber Appeal against the order dated 29.10.2025, whereby the Registrar has declined to register this case on the ground that the Bank had not produced the original documents on 07,10.2025. In the appeal, it is alleged that non production of original documents within the prescribed period was neither deliberate nor intentional, but due to bona fide administrative and logistical reasons. The concerned branch office of the Bank is situated at a considerable distance from the Tribunal, and the original loan documents were under internal audit and verification at the Regional Office during the relevant period and thus, could not be produced. I am of the considered view, that the Bank has shown sufficient cause. Accordingly, the appeal is allowed and disposed of. The Appellant Bank may produce the documents before the Registrar on any working day up to 09.02.2026, who would register the th case DRT-I, Chandigarh
