DEBTS RECOVERY TRIBUNAL-I, CHANDIGARH chI '1/2026 PUNJAB GRAMIN BANK Vs KASHMIR SINGH AND OTHERS 19.01.2026 Item No. 139 Present : Mr. Bhushan Bhatia, Counsel for the Applicant Bank. Punjab Gramin Bank has filed this Chamber Appeal against the order dated 19.12.2025, whereby the Registrar has declined to register this case on the ground that the Bank had not produced the original documents on 03.11.2025. In the appeal, it is alleged that while up\oading documents on the DRT site the case status was written as Dispoling and thus, the documents could not be produced. I am of the considered view, that the Bank has shown sufficient cause. Accordingly, the appeal is allowed and disposed of. The Appellant Bank may produce the documents before the Registrar on any working day upto 09.02.2026, who would register the case. Registry is also directed to restore N.D.N. No. 2510/2025 for verification of documents. A copy of this order be sent to the Registrar and the Bank. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance. 1 Harsh
