DEBTS RECOVERY TRIBUNAL-I, CHANDIGARH CA/4/2026 CANARA BANK Vs BALJIT SINGH 21.04.2026 Item No.131 Present: Ms. Hemlata Issar, Counsel for the Applicant Bank. Canara Bank has filed this Chamber Appeal against the order dated 28.01.2026, whereby the Registrar has declined to register this case on the ground that the bank had not produced the original documents on 07.01.2026. In the appeal, it is alleged that counsel for the bank tried to produce the original documents on 13.01.2026; however, the Registry declined and thus, the documents could not be produced. Counsel for the applicant bank argues that the non- production of the documents was not deliberate but due to circumstances beyond the control of the bank. In view of this, the appeal is allowed and disposed of. The Appellant Bank may produce the documents before the Registrar within seven days. Registry is also directed to restore N.D.N. No. 55/2026 for verification of documents. A copy of this order be emailed to the Counsel for the Applicant Bank at her email address and to the Registrar. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance. ' Pr ORT- , Chandigarh Harsh
