Union Bank of India has filed this Chamber Appeal against the order dated 05.02.2026, whereby the Registrar has declined to register this case on the ground that the Bank had not produced the original documents on 22.01.2026.

In the appeal, it is alleged that *the Applicant was eagerly awaiting confirmation regarding whether the OA had been approved by the Registry or whether any further objections had been raised. However, no e-mail intimating approval of the OA was received by the Applicant* and thus, the documents could not be produced. I am of the considered view, that the Bank has shown sufficient cause.

Accordingly, the appeal is allowed and **disposed of**. The Registrar would register the OA on the date when it was filed.

A copy of this order be sent to the Registrar and the Bank. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
