1. The instant writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner against the impugned notice dated 06.07.2026 issued by the Gram Panchayat, Chatarpura, Panchayat Samiti Jalsu, District Jaipur, against the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been in possession of the subject land since time immemorial.

(2 of 3) [CW-17073/2026] Learned counsel submits that, without conducting any enquiry with regard to petitoner’s right, title and interest in the subject land, straightaway the impugned notice has been issued, hence, interference of this Court is warranted.

3. Heard and considered the submissions made at the Bar and perused the material available on record.

4. Perusal of the record indicates that, by issuing the impugned notice, the petitioner has been called upon to submit his response within a period of three days, however, the response was submitted after a lapse of one month. But, till date no adverse order has been passed against the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid factual aspect of the matter, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of the instant writ petition, granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a reply to the aforesaid notice, along-with all relevant documents with regard to his right, title and interest in the subject property.

6. In case, any such reply to the impugned notice is submitted by the petitioner within a period of seven days from today, it is expected from the concerned Panchayat to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, expeditiously as early as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks thereafter.

7. For a period of four weeks, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.

8. In case, any adverse order is passed against the petitioner, he would be at liberty to submit an appeal under Section 61 of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, before the concerned Appellate Authority.

(3 of 3) [CW-17073/2026]

9. Stay application as well as all pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. (ANOOP KUMAR DHAND),J 33/Karan
