Order

20/08/2026

1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be granted liberty to file a representation before the competent authorities seeking redressal of his grievance, and in the event of any such representation being made, the respondents be directed

[2026:RJ-JP:33443] (2 of 2) [CW-16068/2026] to consider and decide the same expeditiously by passing a speaking and reasoned order.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that against the other persons, to whom the show cause notice was issued, no action has been taken against them, and the case of the petitioner is similar to that of the other persons and thus, he deserves to be granted similar treatment by the respondents.

3. Taking note of the limited submission so made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without delving into the merits/ demerits of the matter, the present writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner may submit his representation before the respondents within a period of 15 days from today, i.e. 20.08.2026, along with a certified copy of this order, and in the event of any such representation being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider and decide the same by passing a speaking and reasoned order within a period of 30 days thereafter, strictly in accordance with law after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The respondents are further directed to consider the case of the petitioner on the ground of parity as well while deciding the said representation.

4. Pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of.

5. Needless to say, this order has been passed only to decide the petitioner's representation and in no manner is to be construed as a direction to decide the said representation in a particular manner. (ANUROOP SINGHI),J 5/VINAY
