Order

20/08/2026

1. This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non- compliance of the order dated 05.07.2022 passed in S.B. Criminal Writ Petition No. 245/2022.

[2026:RJ-JP:33662] (2 of 2) [CCP-1042/2026]

2. Vide order dated 05.07.2022, the Court has directed the Principal Secretary, Home and the Director General of Police to file their personal affidavits regarding steps taken in pursuance of the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly admits that the affidavits, as directed by the Court vide order dated 05.07.2022 have been filed by the concerned officers. However, he submits that the CCTV footage as requested by the petitioner from SHO of Police Station Muhana has not been preserved.

3. On consideration submissions made by counsel the petitioner and the directions given by the Court, the Court finds that the issue which is being raised by the petitioner is beyond the scope of the order dated 05.07.2022 of which the petitioner is alleging non- compliance. Petitioner has also not been the party to the order dated 05.07.2022.

4. In view of the above, the Court finds no merit in this contempt petition hence, the same, is hereby dismissed.

5. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. (GANESH RAM MEENA),J 117/Ekta Saini
