19/08/2026 Pursuant to order of this Court, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, CI, SHO, Chopanki along with Ms. Bas Bai, MFC Belt No.1103 have produced Ms. ‘S’ before us. Indisputably, she is major. On interaction, she stated that she wants to go with the petitioner-Shri Ajrudeen, present in Court and duly identified by her as also by learned counsel for the petitioner.
(2 of 2) [HC-288/2026] Since, Ms. ‘S’ is major, she is at liberty to go wherever she chooses. In view thereof, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of with a direction to the police authority to let Ms. ‘S’ go with the petitioner, present in Court and to ensure her safe return to the place of her choice.
