Order
18/08/2026
1. In compliance of the previous order dated 13.08.2026, the original OMR sheet of petitioner, kept in a sealed cover, has been shown to the Court as well as to petitioner, in the presence of her counsel and parents.
2. A bare perusal of the OMR sheet dispels all apprehensions of petitioner that the response section of OMR sheet, was not filled in by her. Thereafter, petitioner has filed an additional affidavit tendering an apology for making false averments in the writ petition and seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition.
3. Petitioner is a young girl who, after passing Class XII, appeared in the NEET-UG examination. Though her conduct is not appreciable, however, considering her future, this Court refrains itself from taking any adverse action against her and permits withdrawal of the writ petition. The additional affidavit filed by petitioner, tendering an apology, is taken on record.
4. Reply filed by and on behalf of respondents, is also taken on record.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The original OMR sheet has been returned to the counsel, appearing for respondent-NTA, in a sealed cover.
6. Stay application and pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of. (SUDESH BANSAL),J Sachin Sharma/ S-66
