Order

05/08/2026

1. This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 01.04.2025.

2. Heard.

3. Considered the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner.

4. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondents have not decided the representation though there are specific directions of the Court to decide the representation within a period of 30 days from the date of filing of the representation.

5. The Court vide order dated 01.04.2025 allow the petitioner to submit a representation within a period of 7 days,

[2026:RJ-JP:30479] (2 of 2) [CCP-1132/2026] meaning thereby, the petitioner was to submit representation within 7 days from the date of passing of the order i.e. 01.04.2025 and in case the representation is submitted within the given time, then only the respondents were under obligation to decide the representation within the next 30 days.

6. Admittedly, the petitioner has not submitted the representation within 7 days and the representation has been filed after lapse of the 7 days given time.

7. In view of the above, the Court is of the opinion that the respondents have not disobeyed the order of the Court and the petitioner himself failed to submit representation as per directions of the Court.

8. Accordingly, this contempt petition is dismissed.

9. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to make an appropriate application in the original writ petition for seeking extension of time for submitting the representation. (GANESH RAM MEENA),J 24/SHRUTI SHARMA
