04/06/2026 Matter comes up on an application No.1/2026 filed for treating this bail application filed under Section 483 of B.N.S.S., 2023 as an appeal filed under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the bail application filed on behalf of the applicant under Section 483 of B.N.S.S., 2023 was rejected vide order dated 02.05.2026 by learned Special Judge, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (hereinafter referred to as the Act of 1989), Jaipur Metropolitan,I in connection with the FIR No.156/2025 registered at Police Station Shyam Nagar, Jaipur City (South) for the offences punishable under Sections 318(3) and 316(4) of B.N.S., 2023. Learned counsel further submits that against the rejection order dated 02.05.2026, the appeal under Section 14-A of the Act of 1989 was to be filed on behalf of the (2 of 2) [CRLMB-8012/2026] applicant, however, inadvertently, the applicant has filed this bail application under Section 483 of B.N.S.S., 2023, therefore, the present application may be allowed and the bail application may be ordered to be treated as the appeal filed under Section 14-A of the Act of 1989. For the reasons mentioned in the application No. 1/2026, the same is allowed. This bail application filed under Section 483 of B.N.S.S., 2023 is ordered to be treated as an appeal filed under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Accordingly, the application No.1/2026 stands disposed of. Learned counsel for the applicant is directed to file amended cause-title within a period of three days. Office to proceed further.
