SCR,J IA.No.3 of 2015

This application is filed by the petitioner/3rd respondent in the Writ Petition seeking to delete its name in the underlying writ petition.

Admittedly, a respondent in a writ petition cannot unilaterally seek to opt out of the proceedings on the ground that he is no way concerned with the lis, particularly when he has been impleaded as a party by the petitioner or by the Court.

Further, the question, whether any relief should be granted against the said respondent is for the Court to decide at the time of adjudication.

In view of the above, this Court finds no merit in the present application. Accordingly, the application is dismissed. ___________ 06.10.2026 WP.No.2783 of 2012

The Writ Petition is disposed of. (V.S.O.) B/o(gra)
