ORDER
Heard Mr. B. Giridhar, learned counsel for the petitloner and Mr. V. Siddharth Goud, learned counsel, representing Mr. V. Narasimha Goud, learned standing counsel for the respondents No.2 and 3 - HMDA.

It is seen from the record that the petitioner purchased an extent of 7260 sq. yards of land in Sy.No.255, Isnapur Village, Patancheru Mandal, Sangareddy Dlstrict, in the auction conducted by HMDA vide e-auction notification dated 21.t2.2022, being the successful bidder. On application of the petitioner for conversion of usage of the property from re"r'lntial use zone to multi-purpose - use zone, the respondent No.2 addressed letter dated 21.01.2025 stating that prompt steps have been tak,3n for change of land use and proposal have been submitted to the Government vide 1r.No.1870/e-auctions/straybits/CLU/Plg HMDA/2019 dated 27.1O.2023 and the same is pending at the C;overnment level.

Learned counsel for the petitioner :;ubmitted that in the e-auction notice usage of the property was shown as multi-purpose use zone and it was promised to the petitioner that usage will be changed in due course of time by followinll due process of law. That in para 7(b) of G.O'.Ms.No.13 Industries; and Commerce (IP & INF) Department dated 10.06.2021 (Larrd Allotment Policy) guidelines were issued to ensur6 "Accelerated and time bound approval and change of Land use and to declare the lands as "multipurpose use" and notify under appropt'iate zoning". Further, as per para 8(3)(d) it is mentioned that "(d) The Auction lands should be declared automatically as multiourpose use."
4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1 to forthwith act upon the letter of the respondent No.2 dated 21.07.2025 for conversion of land use from residential use zone to multi-purpose Use zone and also by taking note of letter of HMDA dated 27.70.2023. This exercise shall
