Since a contempt case is a original proceeding, Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963 has no application to it. I.A.No.01 of 2025 filed by the applicants seeking condonation of delay of 505 days in filing the contempt case alleging non-compliance of direction issued by this Court in WP(C)(PIL)No.08 of 2022 dt. 13.07.2022 is not maintainable.
Therefore, I.A.No.01 of 2025 is dismissed and subsequently, Cont.Cas(C)No.36 of 2025 is also dismissed.
