This present petition has been filed for granting special leave to appeal against the judgment dated 27.05.2025 passed by the learned Special Judge, South Tripura District, Belonia in case No. Special 24 (POCSO) of 2024.
It is seen from the note of the Registry dated 04.11.2025 that the notice issued upon the respondent has been served.
When the case is called, Mr. Raju Datta, learned P.P. appears on behalf of the petitioner. But, despite service of notice, there is no representation on behalf of the respondent.
Having heard the submissions made at the Bar and after going through the averments made in the application, this Court is of the view that the matter requires further examination. Accordingly, the present criminal leave petition is hereby granted and the same stands disposed of.
