--Petitioner Versus State Of Uttarakhand & others

--Respondents Hon'ble Pankaj Purohit, J.

Mr. Tribhuwan Chandra Pandey, learned Counsel for petitioner.

2. Mr. Anil Dabral, learned Addl. CSC for the State.

3. By means of present writ petition, petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus commanding respondent authorities to decide the joint representation dated 29.06.2026 (Annexure no.3) moved by petitioner and respondent no.6 within a stipulated period.

4. Petitioner contends that petitioner and respondent no.6 both are working as Lecturer (Physics) in Atal Utkrisht Govt. Inter Colleges located at Ramgarh and Bhimtal respectively. Petitioner and respondent no.6 moved a joint application seeking mutual transfer on 29.06.2026. The said application is still pending disposal.

6. Learned Counsel for respondent-State submits that if an order is passed by this Court directing respondent no.2 – Director, Secondary Education to decide the representation dated 29.06.2026 within a specific period, ends of justice would be met.
