3. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition, with liberty to file a fresh petition, if so advised.

4. Having considered the submission advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner, the prayer made is accepted. The petitioner is permitted to withdraw the present writ petition, with liberty to avail such remedy as may be available to him in law.

5. Accordingly, the criminal writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, in accordance with law, if any cause of action survives.
