The Court made the following:

JUDGMENT: (per Sri Manoj Kumar Gupta, C.J.)

The present writ petition has been filed assailing the order dated 10.08.2026, passed by respondent No. 2, rejecting the bid of the petitioner in the technical round in respect of a work named “Work of dressing, leveling, plotting, brick lining, and construction of temporary access roads using WBM etc., for camps, parking areas, akhadas

2026:UHC:7606-DB etc., in Sectors 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 24 in District Haridwar under Kumbh Mela 2027.”

Mr. Puran Singh Bisht, learned Chief Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State, has placed for our perusal an order whereby the contract in question has been cancelled and, also another letter by which fresh tenders have been invited for the same work.

In view of the said subsequent events, the challenge has been rendered infructuous.

The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to apply in pursuance of the fresh tender notice.

Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
