UKHC010100202022 BA1/1602/2022 Sukhpreet Singh Alias Vicky --Applicant Versus State of Uttarakhand --Respondent Hon’ble Rakesh Thapliyal, J.

Mr. Akshay Pradhan, learned counsel for the applicant.

2. Mr. Vijay Khanduri, learned Brief Holder, for the State of Uttarakhand.

3. Mr. Aditya Singh, learned counsel for the complainant.

4. The coordinate Bench has already granted an interim bail to the present applicant on 29.07.2022, which still continues. The offence is admittedly punishable for less than seven years. In connected C482 No.1435 of 2021, trial court proceeding is already stayed.

5. Mr. Aditya Singh, learned counsel for the complainant argued that the applicant have the criminal antecedents of many cases in every part of the country, therefore, the interim bail granted to him shall not continue.

6. On this, learned counsel for the applicant argued that in reference to the criminal antecedents as on date there are no criminal antecedents since in all the cases the closure report has already been filed.

7. In such an eventuality, instant bail application is disposed of finally and the interim bail granted earlier by the Coordinate Bench is made absolute.

(Rakesh Thapliyal, J.)
