Mr. Alok Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners.
Mr. S.C. Dumka, learned A.G.A. assisted by Mr. Nikhil Bisht, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand.
2. On instructions, learned State Counsel submits that an F.I.R. dated 23.07.2026 has been lodged against the petitioner no. 2 by respondent no. 4 under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and the POCSO Act. In view of the same, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present Writ Petition with liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition seeking quashing of the aforesaid F.I.R.
3. Permission is granted.
4. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.
