2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner seeks quashing of F.I.R./Case Crime No.196 of 2026, under Sections 3/11 of Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007 and Section 3/11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, registered at Police Station Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar.
3. After arguing at length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to surrender before the Court concerned.
4. Learned State Counsel has no objection to it.
5. In such view of the matter, the instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the Court concerned within a month from today. Till then, the petitioner shall not be arrested in connection with aforesaid F.I.R., provided he cooperates with the investigation.
