WPCRL/543/2020

Maya Bisht --Petitioner Versus State Of Uttarakhand --Respondent

Hon'ble Alok Mahra, J.

Mr. Navneet Kaushik, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Mr. Rakesh Joshi, learned A.G.A. along with Mr. Manoj Bhatt, learned Brief Holder for the State.

3. Learned State Counsel would submit that, during the pendency of the present writ petition, the trial arising out of the impugned proceedings has already concluded, therefore, the relief sought in the present writ petition no longer survives for consideration, and the petition has, therefore, become infructuous.

4. In view of the above, the criminal writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.

5. All pending applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
