WPMS No.2224 of 2024 Hon’ble Siddhartha Sah, J.

Heard Mr. Sanjay Bhatt, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. I. P. Kohli, learned Brief Holder for the State.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that on account of settlement between the petitioners and respondent nos.1 to 4, the petitioner is not desirous of pursuing the matter any further and wishes to withdraw the present writ petition.

3. Learned State counsel does not have any objection to the said prayer.

4. In view of the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners for withdrawal of the petition, the said prayer is allowed.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, it is observed that, in case the need so arises in future to prefer another writ petition, albeit for a new cause of action, the petitioner shall always be at liberty to pursue the remedy in accordance with law.
