IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

BENCH AT AURANGABAD

WRIT PETITION NO. 1532 OF 2012

Gajamal Keshav Koli

.. Petitioner

Versus

The State Of Maharashtra And Others

.. Respondents

None for Petitioner.

Mr. K. N. Lokhande, AGP for Respondents-State.

CORAM : KISHORE C. SANT AND

JITENDRA JAIN, JJ.

DATE : 16th OCTOBER, 2026.

PER COURT :-

1. Looking to the earlier orders and the fact that the petitioner is not showing interest in conducting the writ petition, this Court finds that the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the writ petition.

2. As it is, a challenge is to a judgment and order dated 21.01.2012 passed by respondent No. 2 whereby claim of the petitioner is invalidated as belonging to Scheduled Tribe. The petitioner had approached the committee as the petitioner was elected as a member to the Grampanchayat in the year 2010. 2026:BHC-AUG:49988-DB

3. Considering above, this Court finds that, no purpose would be served by keeping the petition pending before this Court. Therefore, the writ petition stands dismissed. ( JITENDRA JAIN, J.) ( KISHORE C. SANT, J. )
