BENCH AT AURANGABAD

CIVIL APPLICATION NO.12326 OF 2026

IN

WRIT PETITION NO. 4907 OF 2026

The State of Maharashtra And Another

VERSUS

Affankhan Fayyaz Khan (Minor)

...

Mr. S. B. Pulkundwar, AGP for Applicants.

…

CORAM : KISHORE C. SANT &

JITENDRA JAIN, JJ.

DATE

: 15th OCTOBER, 2026

PER COURT :

1. Not on board. Upon mentioning, taken on board.

2. The present application is moved seeking an extension of time to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner. By order dated 04.05.2026, this Court had directed the Scrutiny Committee to decide tribe claim of the petitioner by the end of July 2026.

3. The learned AGP submits that because of the heavy pendency of claim petitions, the Scrutiny Committee could not decide the tribe claim of the petitioner prior to the date given by this Court.

4. Considering above, time is extended by four months from today. Civil Application stands disposed off. (JITENDRA JAIN, J.) (KISHORE C. SANT, J.) Sayyed 1/1 2026:BHC-AUG:49636-DB
