ORDER
The applicant was discharged on 31.08.2023. He was in a Permanent Low Medical Category on account of disabilities (a) Type-II Diabetes Mellitus, the extent of which was assessed to be 20% for life but neither attributable to nor aggravated by military service, (b) Primary Hypertension, the extent of which was assessed to be 30% for life but neither attributable to nor aggravated by military service and (c) Dyslipidaemia, the extent of which was assessed to be 5% for life but neither attributable to nor aggravated by military service. Accordingly, claim for grant of disability element was rejected. Learned counsel for the applicant confines his claim to grant of disability element for disabilities (a) and (b) only. He submits that the said disabilities have been assessed to be neither attributable to nor aggravated by military service because onset thereof was in a peace area.
