ORDER

The applicant was invalided from service on 31.05.2025. He was discharged because he was in a permanent low medical category and was unwilling to continue to serve in a sheltered appointment. His medical category has been downgraded on account of ‘Right Parietal Meningioma Focal Sensory Seizure’, the extent of which was assessed to be 05% for life but neither attributable to nor aggravated by military service. Guide to Medical Officers (Military Pensions), 2023 was applied for assessing the disability.

Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the onset of the disability was at Jhansi in October 2021, thus, GMO 2023 could not have been applied to assess the disability.

Notice.
