CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL GUWAHATI Order Sheet Item no.: 1 M.A./246/2025 (IMPHAL) [ EXTENSION OF TIME ] In O.A./94/2020 DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDING Court No.: 1 No of Adjournment: 7 Order Dated: 07/10/2026 M/O INFORMATION AND BROADCASTING Vs SRI YENGKHOM LOKHONCHANDRA SINGH

For Applicant(s) Advocate : Sri A. Kundu, Addl. CGSC

For Respondent(s) Advocate : Ms. U. Das Order of The Tribunal The instant M.A has been filed by the petitioners/respondents in O.A seeking further six months time to comply the order dated 25.07.2024 passed by this Tribunal in O.A. No. 042/0094/2020.

2. Today, Sri A. Kundu, learned Addl. CGSC for the petitioners/respondents in O.A. prays to fix the matter for hearing along with the connected OAs.

3. It is noted that, earlier on two occasions, prayers of the petitioners were allowed by granting them time, as prayed for, to comply with the order of this Tribunal dated 25.07.2024. On 15.05.2025 in MA. No. 87/2025, while allowing three months time to comply the aforesaid order of this Tribunal; it was categorically observed that no further time would be granted to the applicants/respondents in O.A. in implementing the said order passed by this Tribunal".

4. Despite clear order as recorded in the aforesaid, the petitioners/respondents have not implemented the order of this Tribunal dated 25.07.2024 but they have chosen to approach this Tribunal for extension of further six months time for the purpose. In our opinion, the action of the respondents is contemptuous.

5. Keeping in view of the above, we direct the petitioners/respondents to implement the order of this Tribunal dated 25.07.2024 as expeditiously as possible, failing which, Deputy Director (Vig), Govt. of India, Press Information Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (Vigilance Section), New Delhi (Respondent No. 4) would be present in person on the next date to explain as to why contempt proceeding shall not be instituted against him/her.

6. List the matter on 02.12.2026. Registry is directed to supply a copy of this order upon the Addl. CGSC for the respondents, who is at responsibility to communicate the same to the respondents.
