CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL BANGALORE Order Sheet Item no.: 1 O.A./387/2026 (BANGALORE) [ TRANSFER ] Court No.: 2 No of Adjournment: 1 Order Dated: 07/10/2026 SRIKANTH M Vs DEPTT OF POSTS
For Applicant(s) Advocate : Shri P. Kamalesan For Respondent(s) Advocate : Order of The Tribunal
Shri P. Kamalesan on behalf of the applicant. Heard on admission. Admitted for hearing. Issue notice to the respondents. Learned counsel Shri S. Sugumaran accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Heard on interim relief. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that as per sub para XV of Para 4 of the Transfer Guidelines, Mail overseers, Postman and Multi-Tasking Staff are exempted from rotational transfer, except on administrative grounds. He further submits that transfer, apart from being in violation of these guidelines, is actually done to accommodate some other preferred individual in place of the applicant. It is seen that the order of transfer was issued on 01.06.2026 and the applicant was already relieved after a week and since then he is on medical leave. Almost four months have passed.
Respondents are requested to file a short reply on the issue of interim relief. List the case on 14.10.2026 for hearing on interim relief.
