2. The applicant has filed the present Original Application seeking re-fixation of her family pension in accordance with the applicable rules and Government orders, release of admissible Dearness Allowance and Medical Allowance along with consequential arrears, and protection against recovery of any alleged excess pension paid to her deceased husband during his lifetime. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the family pension presently being paid to the applicant has not been properly explained by the respondents, as no calculation sheet or basis for determining the amount has been furnished. It is further submitted that the applicant had no role in the fixation or disbursement of pension to her deceased husband and, therefore, no recovery of any alleged excess payment made to him during his lifetime should be effected from her family pension.

4. Having regard to the nature of the grievance raised in the present Original Application, the applicant is directed to submit a representation to the concerned respondents, setting out her grievances and enclosing the relevant supporting documents, if any. Upon receipt of such representation, the competent authority shall consider and decide the same, in accordance with the applicable rules and Government instructions, by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a reasonable period.

5. The Original Application stands disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
