AAG Order of The Tribunal In compliance of the order dated 23.08.2024, Director, School Education Department was directed to consider the case of the petitioner for his voluantary retirement. Vide communication dated 17.11.2025, the Director, School Education Department had issued a letter to the Chief Education Officer, Reasi, requesting the documents of the petitioner who had applied for voluntary retirement two years ago. It is shocking and surprising that even after one and half year, compliance report has not been filed till date. It is the fundamental right of the petitioner whether he wants to work for the department or get voluantary retirement, so the department is bound to accept his request for voluantary retirement. However, despite the Court's order, no action has been taken till date, we take serious note of unnecessary delay caused by the respondent Department. In view of the above, we are constrained to issue harsh order to stop the salary of the Director, School Education Department, Jammu. DDO concerned is directed to stop the salary of Director, School Education Department, Jammu with immediate effect, and the same shall not be released until further orders.
