was received by the competent authority on 27.05.2025 vide no. 5829465/CRU which is part of the O.A. He further submits that despite representation having been filed, the same has not been disposed of by the competent authority.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents, Mr. Syed Musaib, DAG, submits that even otherwise selection does not confer a vested right of appointment upon the applicant. But at the same time, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the at the very least, the respondents ought to have disposed of the representation filed by the applicant which has been unnecessarily kept pending, and as such, the non-disposal of the representation has given rise to filing of the instant O.A.
5. True it is that had the respondents disposed of the representation filed by the applicant timely, the applicant would have come to know as regards the reason for his non- consideration. The respondents, being the first responder, ought to have timely responded to the representation filed by the applicant, so that the grievances of the applicant would have been given an ear. However, the same would not mean that the representation shall be decided in favour of the applicant.
