For Applicant(s) Advocate : SAMEER QAYOOM

For Respondent(s) Advocate : FURQAN SOFI - GA Order of The Tribunal 01/ The instant matter pertains to release of pension and its allied benefits. However, despite notice, reply has not been filed, as a result, disposal of the same has got delayed. 02/ In the aforesaid backdrop, I deem it proper to sensitize the Department of Law and Justice, U.T of J&K, that, at least, in the matters pertaining to release of pension, every endeavor should be made to file the response promptly so that such cases are not made to linger on for want of timely response. I would also like to direct the Commissioner Secretary to Govt., Department of Law and Justice, U.T of J&K, to issue guidelines to all the respective Departments for filing of response/objections in a time bound manner, more particularly, in the matters relating to release of pension and other allied benefits as the pensioners deserve a soft gloves attitude, who, otherwise are senior citizens and shall be dealt with sympathy and due respect. 03/ Mr. Furqan - GA, to file his reponse in the matter without fail by or before next date of hearing. Registry to send copy of this order to the Commissioner Secretary, to Govt., Department of Law and Justice, U.T of J&K, who will ensure compliance of the same. 04/ List for consideration on 02-12-2026.
