PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to give permission to run the Recreation Club by name style of Supreme Sports and Recreation Club Club in the venue of No.2, Thendral Petrol Bunk Back Side, Karur Main Road, Nagampatti Panchayat, Vedasandur Post, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 14.03.2024 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 14.03.2024 and grant permission to run the recreation club under the name and style of Supreme Sports and Recreation Club at No. 12, behind Thendral Petrol Bunk, Karur Main Road, Nagampatti Panchayat, Vedasandur Post, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District, in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the President of Supreme Sports and Recreation Club and that he has submitted a representation dated 14.03.2024 seeking permission to run the recreation club at the above-mentioned premises. However, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking appropriate directions.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner’s representation would be considered in accordance with law.
4. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 14.03.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after conducting an enquiry and verifying the relevant records, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s claim, and it is for the respondents to consider the same independently in accordance with law.
