PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the Special Court for SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act) Thanjavur to consider the surrender and Bail application filed by the petitioner in Crime No.587 of 2026 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police and to consider the bail application filed by the petitioner on the same day and pass order and thus render justice.

ORDER
The present petition has been filed by the sole accused in Crime No.587 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender.
2. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the Special Court for SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act) Thanjavur, to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender in Crime No.587 of 2026, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.

3. The petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Court on or before 16.11.2026.
