The petitioner is working as a Revenue Assistant in Pudukottai. Her request for transfer from Pudukottai to Madurai has been rejected by the District Collector, Madurai vide order dated 31.07.2025. Challenging the same, this writ petition has been filed.

2. The petitioner has raised certain medical grounds for considering her request. The impugned order says that her request would be considered seniority wise.
