ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to take necessary action for cancelling the patta by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 12.12.2025 within a time limit fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.R.Anandha Raj, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Vashik Ali, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. In view of the order proposed to be passed, notice to the respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with.

3. Though the petitioner seeks for a positive direction to direct the second respondent to cancel the patta, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12.12.2025. __________

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 26-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No cmr __________
