ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The writ petitioner is an aided school. One V.Ramakrishnan was appointed as drawing teacher in the said school on 03.01.1997. Disciplinary action was initiated against him. Finally, a proposal was submitted by the management to the competent authority/second respondent herein for granting prior approval for imposing the punishment of dismissal from service.

3. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that till date, no further order has been passed. In the meanwhile, several subsequent developments have also taken place. They have been referred to in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. Some materials have also been enclosed in the typed set of papers.

4. The learned Government Advocate rightly points out that Ramakrishnan ought to have been impleaded in the writ petition.

5. I consciously refrain from going into the merits of the matter. I however direct the second respondent to pass an appropriate order on the proposal submitted by the management. Since several years have

WP(MD) No. 30436 of 2026 elapsed, it will be only just and proper that the second respondent issues notice to the said Ramakrishnan before passing final order. It is needless to mention that any final order that may be passed by the second respondent ought to take into account the objection raised by Thiru.Ramakrishnan. This exercise shall be completed by the second respondent within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 23-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No rmi To
