ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the respondent police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. __________

2. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, an FIR has been registered as against the petitioners in Crime No.493 of 2026 for the offences under Sections 296(b) & 351(3) of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman (Amendment) Act, 2002.
3. In such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to strictly adhere to the provisions of the BNS while conducting the investigation.
