Following order was passed in this writ petition on 10.09.2026 that also noticed the grievance of the petitioner:- “Notice, at this stage, confined to respondents No.1 to 6 only. Ms. Seema Sharma, learned Deputy Advocate General appears and waives service of notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 6.
The petitioner was serving as Cook-cum-Helper at Government Primary School Thatta, District Mandi. Her services were dispensed with on ground of lesser strength of school students. Her grievance is that she is senior to respondent No.7, who is serving as Cook-cum- Helper in the aforesaid school. Therefore, her termination from service violates the principle of 'last

2 come, first go'. Let respondent No.2 examine the factual matrix of the case and furnish a report on the next date. List on 24.09.2026.”
2. Pursuant to above order, learned Assistant Advocate General had placed on record office instructions dated 13.10.2026 from the Director School Education, Himachal Pradesh. Further instructions have been placed on record today, bearing the date 14.10.2026, regarding petitioner’s continuation as Mid-Day Meal Worker/Cook- cum-Helper at GPS Thatta. Learned Assistant Advocate General has also placed on record the joining furnished by the petitioner as Mid-Day Meal Worker/Cook-cum-Helper at GPS Thatta on 15.10.2026.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledges the above facts and submits that grievance of the petitioner raised in this writ petition has now been redressed.
In view of above, the present writ petition to stand disposed of. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
