ORDER

I have perused the papers.

2. The present writ petition had been filed primarily for a relief of deleting an entry that had been made by the second respondent in the Encumbrance Certificate, wherein an order of this Court had been relied upon to make an entry with regard to a false legal heirship certificate said to have been issued by the Revenue Tahsildar, Srirangam on 14.03.2025 in X/K/vz;/m5/0855/2025. The order in the writ petition which directed the entry in the Encumbrance Certificate to be made is said to have been made in W.P.(MD) No.34991 of 2025. The said order is dated 07.01.2026. The writ petition was originally disposed of by order dated 04.12.2025, wherein on a writ petition filed by one R.V.Kannan viz., the third respondent herein for a larger relief, even in the absence of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, had directed the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai to consider and dispose of the third respondent’s representation dated 24.10.2025. Thereafter, by way of being mentioned, the matter was again taken up on 07.01.2026 to modify the order dated 04.12.2025 in respect of direction issued from the first respondent to the __________

( Uploaded on: 27/10/2026 01:30:51 pm )

WP(MD) No. 10893 of 2026 fourth respondent. The said order does not reflect any direction to make an entry with regard to false legal heirship certificate.

3. It is submitted that the said entry was made by the then Sub- Registrar by name one Rajendran, who is currently working as the Sub- Registrar, Madurai (South), Madurai. Hence, this Court is of the view that he should also be made as a necessary party to this Writ Petition apart from the Revenue Tahsildar, Srirangam Taluk, Srirangam.

4. Accordingly, Mr.Rajendran, Sub-Registrar, Madurai (South), Madurai and the Revenue Tahsildar, Srirangam Taluk, Srirangam are suo motu impleaded as necessary parties in this writ petition, who shall be impleaded as Respondents No.6 and 7.

5. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment.

6. Mr.S.Siva Thilakar, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the 7th respondent.

7. Notice to the sixth respondent returnable by 20.11.2026. Private notice is also permitted. __________
