ORDER

The petitioner, a Clerk in the 3rd respondent society, has filed this writ petition challenging the order dated 30.07.2025 placing him under suspension just a day before his superannuation.

2. This Court has entertained this writ petition on 19.08.2026 and granted an order of interim stay. When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner is having an effective alternate remedy before the Joint Registrar of Co-Operatives under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Societies Act.

3. Since the petitioner is having an effective alternate remedy, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the revision authority. Further the enquiry must be conducted in a fair manner and the respondents are directed to either furnish the documents relied upon by them to the petitioner to defend his case effectively or allow him to peruse the documents. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
